How it works
  • You are required to pay monthly subscriptions starting in September, which vary according to your squad or training group.
  • Subscriptions are paid in 8 equal monthly instalments from September through to April.
  • The monthly subscriptions do not relate directly to the month in which they are paid; they are just 1/8th of the total cost and an overall commitment for the season. So, for instance if you are away or unable to attend, your monthly subscriptions must continue. If you have an injury that prevents you from training and playing, your subscriptions may be placed on hold. If this occurs, you must speak to your squad coach at the earliest opportunity.
  • For those of you who were Club members in previous years, you will notice that we have simplified our payments and have combined the membership payment into the monthly subscriptions, so you will now only pay subscriptions.
  • New members will have two free sessions before being asked to sign up for membership.
  • If you join part way through the season, your first month will be discounted to reflect how many training sessions are left in that month.

  • We do not offer a Pay As You Go option for scheduled training sessions but additional sessions eg. social play or workshops may incur a charge which will be confirmed in advance.
  • Payments can only be accepted through Teamo, via GoCardless (direct debit) or Stripe.
Cancelling your subscription

We understand that circumstances often change and if you need cancel your subscription for whatever reason, we’ll be sad to see you go, but please let us know so that we can cancel the payment requests at our end.
If you are injured and unable to play, these will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis in terms of severity and potential impact on your training attendance and ability to compete.
There is no automatic pause or cancellation of subscriptions so, in the event of an injury, please ensure that you discuss the situation with your coach so that they can liaise with the Treasurer and agree next steps.

What is covered in our subscription payments?

A good question! With around 350 members comes a great deal of organisation and cost! In addition to court hire, which is expensive, we also need to maintain and replace equipment (nets, posts, balls and team kit etc). There are also the costs of competing in various leagues (Bristol & District, South West of England and National League) including entry fees, affiliation fees, additional court fees and referee costs. So, your subscriptions cover everything that it takes to run the club efficiently and safely and provide our members with everything that is needed to do so.
